Ways to Volunteer

Direct Care Volunteers

  • Provide companionship by talking, laughing, and supporting patients.
  • Read to patients or share hobbies and activities.
  • Help create treasured memories, like crafts or special projects.
  • Simply hold a hand and be present for someone who needs comfort.

Indirect Care Volunteers

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones or organizing files.
  • Help with special projects or bereavement mailings.
  • Support events or assist the team in other behind-the-scenes roles.

Bereavement Volunteers

  • Offer support to families who are grieving.
  • Attend funerals or remembrance events.
  • Share comforting words through calls, cards, or visits.
